Dental Health Dental preventative services for qualifying children and youth 17 years of age and younger

Food and Healthy Eating Eating is about more than food and can look different from person to person. Choose foods for enjoyment, culture, preferences, traditions, budget, health, and celebrations:

enjoy a variety of foods, including foods found in Canada’s Food Guide
include plant-based foods like beans, peas, pulses, vegetables, and fruits
pay attention to feeling hungry and full
cook and eat with others more often

Canada’s Food Guide can help:

lower risk of heart disease, diabetes, certain types of cancer, and osteoporosis
have a healthy pregnancy and baby
provide the nutrients for children need to grow and develop
have more energy and feel good

Smoke-Free Ontario and Tobacco Control Enforces the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017 through inspections of enclosed workplaces, public places, schools and other places that are required to be smoke- and vapour-free * regulates the sale, supply, use, display, and promotion of tobacco and vapour products (e.g., vapes, e-cigarettes, and e-substances), and the smoking and vaping of cannabis
