Description of Services:	Works to prevent and reduce adverse health outcomes resulting from exposure to infectious diseases Services include: public education and awareness about infectious diseases, and infection prevention and control practices surveillance and early detection of cases and outbreaks of infectious diseases investigation and control of infectious diseases in institutions and the community (sporadic cases and outbreaks) and advice to institutions and professionals inspection of facilities such as child care centres, long-term care homes, retirement homes, personal services settings (e.g. aesthetics, hair, and tattoo salons) pandemic response (COVID-19)
