Program: Special Steps Alzheimer Walking Program
Organization: Victorian Order of Nurses - Perth-Huron
Description of Services: Volunteers are trained, supported and matched one-on-one with person with dementia, such as Alzheimer's Disease, living in the community * volunteers offer support and friendship to the client through regularly-scheduled walks at indoor walking facilities or outdoors (weather permitting) or through regularly-scheduled sit-down visits

Volunteers do not do medication reminders, personal care or housekeeping, or enter client's care
