Description of Services: Provides non-medical assistance with activities of daily living in the home for people with a permanent physical disability or an acquired brain injury living in Mississauga, and who are able to direct their own care

Provide assistance with daily living:
  • personal grooming and hygiene
  • toileting and bowel/bladder services
  • dressing, undressing, bathing, washing
  • rising and retiring
  • meal preparation
  • transferring
  • ventilator and tracheotomy services
  • essential communication services
  • for existing clients, palliative support can be provided when appropriate

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: People with a permanent physical disability or acquired brain injury * 16 years of age or older * have the ability to direct own care * be resident of Ontario * have OHIP * not be in receipt of insurance funds * qualify for Aging at Home programs
