  • food safety inspections (restaurants, take-out, grocery stores, special events, schools, markets, etc.)
  • responding to food premises service requests (food handling concerns)
  • food safety education and awareness for operator requirements and the public 
Environmental health hazards:
  • education and awareness regarding health hazards
  • risk assessment and investigation of health hazards
  • heat warnings, cold alerts, and special air quality notifications
  • inspections of congregate living housing
